CAT ABW training for the Warsaw Municipal Police

  • CAT ABW training for the Warsaw Municipal Police

On 29 May this year, CAT ABW officers conducted a training session for representatives of the internal security department and the IT division of the Municipal Police.

During the lecture, security issues were discussed, with particular emphasis on the issue of information-terrorist threats. In addition, issues related to threats arising from malicious activity in the information space were presented. Attention was also drawn to various aspects of the misuse of the IT sphere for hybrid activity. Specific examples of the most common incidents related to criminal activity on the Internet, in particular using social media, were pointed out.

The trainings are a continuation of the cooperation between the Anti-Terrorist Centre of the ABW and the Municipal Police in terms of raising the awareness of employees of the security division. The series of meetings is part of an effort to build the resilience of entities subordinate to the local administration.
