Training at NASK

  • Training at NASK

On 24 April 2025, a CAT ABW expert conducted a training course at the National Research Institute - NASK.

During the training, the expert introduced the subject of threats and phenomena resulting from social radicalisation, discussed in detail the mechanism of: building social resilience, early detection of symptoms, taking preventive measures and appropriate response.

Participants had the opportunity to organise and deepen their knowledge of terminology, identify risk factors or analyse evolving forms of radicalisation using CASE STUDY. The topic of extremist symbolism was also addressed. Participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the processes of social behaviour as a result of radical propaganda disseminated through the mass media.

The specialised training as an element of inter-institutional cooperation was targeted in detail for managers and employees - an open discussion panel allowed for the exchange of experiences and insights into potential future directions for prevention and counter-radicalisation of, among others, young people.
