CAT ABW training for employees of the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Góra
On 7-8 April 2025, CAT ABW experts conducted a specialised training course for employees of the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Góra. The training topics focused on counter-terrorism prevention and cyber security issues.
The meeting was attended by the museum's management and staff, who had the opportunity to learn about the assumptions of the nationwide social campaign 4U!, implemented by CAT ABW. The campaign promotes recommended ways of responding to terrorist threat situations.
During the training, special emphasis was placed on the ability to recognise the symptoms of threats at an early stage and knowledge of procedures to be followed in the event of incidents such as a mass murderer attack or the receipt of a dangerous package.
Important issues related to safe use of the internet were also addressed. Experts highlighted potential threats in the digital space and presented good practices that can help to effectively manage online safety - both in work and private life.
