CAT ABW training for the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University of Warsaw
On 1 and 8 April 2025, the Anti-Terrorism Centre (CAT) of the Internal Security Agency (ABW) conducted a training course for academic staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw.
CAT ABW experts presented recommended best practices and actions in case of: contact with CBRN, i.e. chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats, a dangerous shipment or in the situation of receiving information about a threat.
The training is divided into thematic modules focused, among other things, on the analysis of issues relating to:
- terrorist incidents,
- contemporary security threats,
- mass killer attacks,
- use of explosives,
- cyber security,
- information security.
The procedure to be followed during an emergency under the ‘4U!’ campaign was discussed in detail and debated. - BEWARE, RUN, HIDE and DESTROY THE ATTACK.
