A series of CAT ABW trainings for the Warsaw Municipal Police
On 14 October, CAT ABW officers conducted a training session for candidates for the Warsaw Municipal Police.
During the lecture, issues related to anti-terrorist prevention, i.e. recommended ways of behaviour under the 4U! Campaign, which are applicable in the event of a terrorist incident, were discussed. In addition, topics related to the threats posed by terrorist activities
in the cyber space were explored. The scope of considering cyber-terrorism in the current information and cyberspace environment was indicated. The aspect of the use of digital space for irregular operations in hybrid threats was also discussed. Participants in the training were able to learn examples of the most common incidents related to criminal activity in digital space, with a particular focus on social media.
The training sessions indicated are a continuation of the cooperation between the Anti-Terrorism Centre of the ABW and the City Guard in terms of increasing the awareness of future city guards in the context of anti-terrorism prevention and cyber security. The series of meetings is part of an effort to build the resilience of entities subordinate to the local administration.
