Training for the General Insurance Company
On 9 October 2024, representatives of the Internal Security Agency conducted a training session on information security and cyber-security for the staff of the Universal Insurance Company.
During the lecture, issues related to building resilience against information threats were discussed, including the issue of the exposure of state-owned companies to espionage and sabotage. The training highlighted selected elements of the recognised modus operandi of hostile state and non-state actors in activities related to the unauthorised acquisition of knowledge about an organisation and a person. The subject of the meeting was also good practices concerning recommended behaviours enhancing business travel security.
A separate topic during the event was the various aspects of internet use, which can expose an individual to threats as a private person, as well as a member of an organisation, possibly infiltrated by competitors or foreign secret services for various reasons. In this context, good practices related to staying safe online were communicated to the audience.
