The topic of the lecture, delivered on 14 October this year, concerned the broadly understood prevention of information threats in the context of the activities of state and non-state entities.

The training was mainly devoted to discussing issues related to the role of information in the context of building an organisation's security policy. The characteristics of contemporary threats caused by the overabundance and massiveness of information were also discussed, taking into account attacks aimed at the positive image of the entity.

As part of the recommended ways of mitigating and neutralising information threats, the area of issues covered included the problem of secure information management in the entity and its uninterrupted operation in the face of situations related to attempts at unauthorised acquisition of information.
