TPCoE training for the State School of Higher Education in Chelm
On April, 29 the experts of the Terrorist Prevention Centre of Excellence of the Internal Security Agency in cooperation with the Staff Office of the Internal Security Agency carried out a training at the State School of Higher Education in Chelm. During the meeting, students, graduates, administrative and teaching staff had the opportunity to learn about anti-terrorist prevention and the role of the Agency in the national security system.
TPCoE experts introduced the audience to the role of information in the process of building security policy in the context of terrorist threats. Further, they discussed the issues related to the process of radicalization, which can lead to violent extremism and terrorism. Special attention was paid to the factors that can generate vulnerability of an individual to the radical narratives promoted by extremist and terrorist movements. During the meeting, based on the 4U! social campaign, the participants learned also about the best practices and recommended behaviours in the event of a terrorist incident.
