Workshop raising awareness on disinformation
Officers of the TPCoE participated in workshops entitled. "Countering disinformation, resilient citizens" which took place on 8 April 2022 in the session room of the City Council in Wroclaw.
The event was organized in the framework of the European project EU-Hybnet by the Polish Platform for Internal Security in cooperation with the Regional Representation of the European Commission in Wroclaw and the City Hall of Wroclaw.
EU-Hybnet project is dedicated to the subject of hybrid threats and serves, among others, to build functional innovative tools to counteract these threats and to create a pan-European network of cooperation between institutions dealing with this issue.
The Wroclaw meeting was attended by experts representing Polish services, state institutions, scientific and research centers and representatives of civil society.
The purpose of the workshop was to discuss the issue of counteracting disinformation and to develop recommendations to raise awareness in Poland about this form of social influence, which is increasingly used by aggressors.
