1st National Meeting as part of the ESBOR project

On 28 May 2026, the Counter-Terrorism Centre of the Internal Security Agency (CAT ABW) organised the first national consultation meeting in Warsaw, held in a workshop format as part of the ESBOR project. In addition to Dr Marzena Kordaczuk-Wąs, an expert selected through a tender procedure, the event was attended by the project’s strategic partners, namely representatives of the Ministry of Justice and the Prison Service.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the conceptual framework of the classroom-based training programme entitled ‘Introduction to a multi-faceted approach to preventing radicalisation leading to violent extremism and terrorism’, as well as the educational materials being prepared for the booklet and the planned e-learning course as part of the first part of the training programme.

During the workshop, participants analysed the structure of the training programme, the scope of the proposed modules and sub-topics, and their adaptation to the needs and professional duties of the future participants. The discussion also covered the scope of content envisaged for classroom-based training, educational materials and e-learning, as well as a catalogue of key terms requiring definition and explanation in the materials being developed.

The results of the consultation will be used to develop the final scope of the basic-level training content and the educational materials being prepared as part of the ESBOR project.
