CAT ABW training for Bank Ochrony Środowiska
On September 12, 2025, an officer from CAT ABW conducted training in Warsaw on anti-terrorist prevention for representatives of Bank Ochrony Środowiska S.A.
During the meeting, the specific nature of threats related to security in public administration institutions and the financial sector was discussed in detail. Contemporary forms of terrorism were analyzed, with particular emphasis on their changing methods of operation and ability to adapt to global and local conditions.
The training also highlighted current threats to the security of the Republic of Poland, covering both internal and external dimensions, including potential risks resulting from geopolitical tensions and destabilizing activities.
The practical part of the meeting was devoted to the “4U!” social campaign, which promotes appropriate behavior in situations of terrorist threats. The rules of conduct in the event of an immediate threat and in the preparation phase were discussed, emphasizing the importance of prevention and adequate preparation of institutions.
The “4U!” campaign is part of broader activities of the Internal Security Agency's Counter-Terrorism Center aimed at raising public awareness, shaping a culture of security, and increasing the resilience of institutions to potential threats.
