CAT ABW training for the Central Statistical Office
On 29 May 2025, an expert from the Anti-Terrorism Centre of the Internal Security Agency conducted a training session for the management of the Central Statistical Office.
During the meeting, recommended procedures for action in the event of terrorist threats were discussed in detail. The expert presented the rules of conduct in the situation of a mass killer attack, emphasising the need for a quick and decisive response, priority protection of life and minimisation of the consequences of the incident. Threats arising from the possibility of the use of explosives were also discussed, with particular emphasis on methods of recognising such situations and ways of counteracting the escalation of risk.
The training was held as part of the nationwide educational campaign ‘4U!’, which aims to raise awareness of terrorist threats and promote responsible behaviour in crisis situations. This initiative is addressed to a wide audience - both representatives of public administration and the private sector - supporting the building of a society that is aware of threats and adequately prepared to neutralise them.
