Training for Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce
On 17 December 2024, a CAT ABW expert conducted anti-terrorism prevention training for students at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.
During the meeting, the process of radicalisation, which is a source of terrorism, was discussed, to which adolescents and minors in particular are largely exposed. The need to raise public awareness of all symptoms of terrorist threats was pointed out. Issues of behaviour during a direct occurrence of such events, e.g. an attack by an armed perpetrator or an assault by counter-terrorist units, were then addressed. In addition, ways of dealing with so-called dangerous consignments, which may contain explosives or CBRN agents, were identified.
