V National meeting - Warsaw
On 9-10 January 2019, the Terrorism Prevention Centre of Excellence organized a fifth two-day meeting with public administration.
Participants in the abovementioned meeting included guests from 9 voivodeships. The topic aimed at raising terrorism prevention awareness among public sector employees. During the event participants discussed the security of public administration buildings and were presented with cultural differences between Muslim countries.
On the first day of the training the discussion concerned:
- Characteristics of terrorism, threat identifications, practical aspects of behaviour during a terrorist attack.
- Challenges linked with ensuring safety in public buildings on the example of Voivodeship buildings.
On the second day of the meeting, the following issues were presented:
- Stages of crisis management in face of a threat in public buildings.
- Cultural differences between Muslim countries.
