Participation of TPCoE in a conference at the Lower Silesian Voivodship Office
On 7-8 December this year, the Lower Silesian Voivodship Office hosted a conference organised by the Lower Silesian Voivodship Governor entitled 'Security is most important...'. The event is the result of the established cooperation between TPCoE and the Centre for Security Studies and Education of the University of Wrocław under a cooperation agreement.
The cooperation manifests itself in a series of seminars related to the creation in the Polish education system and education of a regional network of coordinators for the popularisation of TPCoE e-learning platform, which promotes knowledge of best practices in terrorist prevention. Lectures on extremist-terrorist prevention and information security conducted by TPCoE during the event will also be part of the cooperation.
The cooperation of TPCoE and the Centre for Security Studies and Education at the University of Wrocław is a model example of harmonious cooperation between scientific and security structures, the strategic aim of which is to increase the state's resilience to extremist-terrorist threats in an area beyond the ordinary contacts of the bodies of the anti-terrorist system. The above is to be fostered by systematic awareness-raising also during events such as the conference in Wrocław, where an important exchange of information on this process takes place between all participants in the public administration: representatives of science, security, field and local public administration and other entities important in this context. The above is part of the effort to shape a well-functioning partnership between science and security in protecting the state and its citizens.
