TPCoE took part in the XXX International Defence Industry Exhibition
From 6 to 9 September 2022, a delegation of the TPCoE and the Bureau of Personnel represented Internal Security Agency at 30th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO, held in Kielce under the patronage of Polish President Andrzej Duda. The strategic partner of the Salon is Polish Armaments Group.
During the event, the latest models of armaments from Polish and foreign defence companies (e.g. the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Turkey and Israel) were presented. Demonstrations included new technological solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles, communications equipment, automated command support systems and special technology equipment. In addition, there were also presentations by services subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, which focused on topics related to the control of the circulation of goods of strategic importance, which falls directly within the scope of interest of the Internal Security Agency. This year, our unit offered the opportunity to see, among other things, a museum specimen of ENIGMA - a rotary cipher machine that encoded the reports of the armed forces of the Third Reich, in the decoding of which a team of Polish cryptologists from the Cipher Bureau of the Second Division of the Polish Armed Forces General Staff made their contribution.
For many years, MSPO has been one of the most important defence industry exhibitions in Europe. The event is an opportunity to exchange experience and good practices relevant to defence, issues related to the needs of the defence sector and the role of security services and structures.
