TPCoE at International Conference on the use of behavioral analysis by law enforcement services
On 18-19 May the management and experts of the Terrorist Prevention Centre of Excellence of the Internal Security Agency participated in the 1st International Conference on the use of behavioral analysis by law enforcement services.
The event was organized and hosted by Colonel Adam Pacuk Commander of the Border Guard Training Center in Kętrzyn. The conference gathered 90 experts representing services and institutions from Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland and Poland. TPCoE experts discussed the issues related to the process of radicalization. They emphasised the importance of prevention and limiting the impact of the factors that can generate vulnerability to the radical narratives promoted by extremist and terrorist movements. Other speakers referred to the topics related to the use of artificial intelligence in behavioral detection, threats to critical infrastructure from the insiders and training methodology in the field of behavioral analysis.
