ABW’s TP CoE joins the INDEED project
On September 21-22, 2021, the ABW’s Terrorism Prevention Centre of Excellence took part in the inauguration of the project entitled "INDEED - Strengthening comprehensive approach to preventing and counteracting radicalization based on evIdeNce-based moDEl for Evaluation of raDicalisation prevention).
The aim of the INDEED project is to develop a model and instrument for evaluating prevention programs and initiatives in the field of radicalization. The above is to strengthen the skills of practitioners (including local institutions, social workers, education workers, representatives of law enforcement agencies, prison service, probation officers and decision makers) in the assessment of the effectiveness of preventive measures. The project will also result in the creation of a repository of good practices, recommendations and an online toolkit, which will be used by practitioners to fully assess radicalization prevention initiatives.
The project coordinator and the leader of the international research and development consortium is the Polish Platform for Homeland Security. In addition, the consortium includes 19 partners from 15 European countries with, among others, the status of government institutions, science and research centres and universities. The initiative will be implemented from September 2021 and will last 36 months.
