ABW’s TP CoE training for PPL
As part of the anti-terrorist awareness-building mission, on September 14, 2021, ABW’s TP CoE conducted training in terrorist prevention for the management staff of the "Polish Airports" State Enterprise (PPL).
The organized meeting was devoted to discussing, inter alia, the principles of proper response in the event of a terrorist event, including an attack by a mass killer, a hostage situation as well as the danger of using explosives. Due to the specificity of the activity of the indicated enterprise, one of the most important topics to be discussed was the assessment of vulnerability to potential threats of critical infrastructure facilities.
Moreover, delegated ABW’s TP CoE officers presented in a synthetic and exhaustive manner the threats resulting from the process of radicalization and attempts to obtain sensitive information by terrorist organizations. The summary was the presentation of practical tips and recommendations in the field of preventing and counteracting incidents of a terrorist nature.
