Summary meeting with SOA - Gdańsk
Delegation of the Internal Security Agency together with representatives of SOA took part in the meeting in Gdańsk/Poland, which summarized the outcome of EU co-financed PO WER project.
During the meetings, the effects of the joint implementation of the PO WER project were summarized. The Polish side presented a training program in the field of terrorism prevention for the public administration community.
The individual training modules were developed by TPCoE in cooperation with SOA, foreign special services and experts.
The financial and logistical issues related to the implementation of the EU project ware also covered at the meeting.
Participants discussed i.a. the implementation of the training program at the national level and the issues of joint organization of an international conference that will summarize the accomplishments of the project. The conference will also aim at exchanging best practices and making recommendations in the field of strategic communication and the role of the media in combating terrorism.
At the end of the visit TPCoE presented two movies, constituting central part of the awareness-raising activity about radicalization and its symptoms.
The meeting was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund within the project "Increasing the competences of state security services, public administration employees and research and development centers in the area of national security" under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020.
