EU budget for 2023

7 June 2022, The European Commission has proposed a draft EU budget for 2023, which is part of the Union's long-term budget for 2021 - 2027.

The draft budget of €185.6 billion, complemented by an estimated €113.9 billion from the NextGenerationEU facility, is designed to respond to the most important recovery needs of the EU Member States and our partners worldwide. The budget will continue to modernise the European Union and strengthen Europe as a strong global partner.

The Commission has proposed to allocate €689 million for security (up €89 million on last year), of which €310 million for the Internal Security Fund (ISF), which will combat terrorism, radicalisation, organised crime and cybercrime.

TPCoE is dealing with broadly understood anti-terrorist prevention, the key element of which is spreading of knowledge on the possibilities of preventing unfavourable - from the point of view of security - events, also benefits from external financing, including, among others, implementation of EU projects.
