Terrorism Prevention Centre of Excellence has begun the trainings within the PO WER project.
The series of trainings begun on 9 March 2020 with two 2-day meetings: on 9-10 March and 11-12 March 2020. Since 1 June the trainings have been suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Trainings will start again on September 14.
„Terrorism Prevention Centre of Excellence, while training public administration employees, aims at rising CT awareness and at the same time, the security level in Poland”.
Each 2-day training includes a total 16 hours of lectures and practical exercises, during which trainers address recommended actions during a terrorist attack, cyber security basics, pre-medical treatment, radicalization indicators and pubolic buildings protection measures.
A key element of the trainings are the practical exercises, which form a part of subject areas. They enable students to practice the recommendations given by the TP CoE with experienced trainers and experts, who deal with insecurities on the spot without prejudice or inhibitions.
TPCoE’s training programme was developed during many national expert meetings in 2019 and an extensive multilateral cooperation with foreign special services, not to forget the partnership in the Project with the Croatian Security and Intelligence Service (SOA).
