CAT ABW training for the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy

  • CAT ABW training for the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy

On 5 June 2025, an officer from CAT ABW conducted a training course on anti-terrorist prevention for representatives of the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy in Warsaw.

The meeting was devoted to a detailed analysis of security threats in public administration institutions. The characteristics of contemporary forms of terrorism were discussed, with particular emphasis on their variability, adaptability and links to global and local geopolitical conditions. The expert pointed out the current threats to the citizens of the Republic of Poland, referring to aspects of internal and external security of the state and possible destabilising activities.

During the training, the assumptions of the social campaign ‘4U!’ were also presented, promoting appropriate reactions in case of terrorist threats, suspicious shipments or CBRN incidents. Particular emphasis was placed on the practical aspects of prevention, preparation and response - both at the time of an immediate threat and in the phase of its potential occurrence.

The training was an important part of efforts to increase the resilience of public institutions and raise awareness of security and crisis management.
