CAT ABW training for the Ministry of Development and Technology

  • CAT ABW training for the Ministry of Development and Technology

On 28 November 2024, a CAT ABW officer conducted a training course on anti-terrorist prevention for representatives of the Ministry of Development and Technology in Warsaw.

During the meeting, the specifics of security threats in public administration institutions were discussed in detail. The characteristics of contemporary forms of terrorism were analysed, taking into account its dynamically changing methods of operation and adaptability to global and local conditions. Current threats to the citizens of the Republic of Poland were highlighted, referring to aspects of internal and external security of the country, including potential threats arising from geopolitical tensions and destabilising activities.

During the discussion, the principles of the ‘4U!’ social campaign, which presents recommended actions in the event of a terrorist threat, were also discussed. Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of prevention, preparation and proper conduct both at the time of an immediate threat and in the run-up to possible events of this type. The campaign is an element of increasing effectiveness in educating the public and building awareness of security principles.
