Training for KGHM S.A.
On 11 October 2024, a CAT ABW officer carried out a training course on anti-terrorist prevention for employees and management representatives of KGHM S.A. company.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the specificity of the functioning of key entities for the economy of the Republic of Poland, especially in the context of the current international situation. Discussed were, inter alia, issues related to recognising the symptoms of terrorist threats, with particular emphasis on industrial facilities. Recommended methods of proceeding in the event of the occurrence of such events, e.g. contact with an armed perpetrator, the use of explosives or the use of the so-called dangerous shipment, were also presented.
The training was an element of the ABW's efforts to raise awareness among the personnel of Companies of strategic importance in the context of the state's economic interests.
