CAT training for the Podlaskie Museum in Bialystok
On 9-10 September 2024, CAT ABW experts conducted a training for the Podlaskie Museum on counter-terrorism prevention and cyber-security issues.
The event was attended by the Museum's management and staff, who were introduced to the 4U! public awareness campaign implemented by CAT ABW. This campaign recommends recommended ways to deal with terrorist threats.
During the training, the importance of recognising the symptoms of threats in their early stages was emphasised. Attention was also drawn to the recommended procedures to be followed during various terrorist acts, especially in the situation of a mass killer attack or the receipt of a so-called dangerous package.
The importance of safe use of the Internet was emphasised, pointing out the potential dangers that may arise in this area. A variety of good practices that can help users to effectively manage their online security were highlighted as part of the topics discussed.
