Conference 'Safety is most important – Polish schooling', Gliwice 26 April 2023 r.
On 26 April 2023, in the auditorium of the Education and Congress Centre of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, another training course/conference, planned in cooperation with the University of Wrocław, was held, devoted to security at schools in the context of terrorist incidents. The training covered the process of building information security policy and anti-terrorist prevention.
The meeting provided knowledge on best practices and recommended behaviour in the event of a terrorist incident - based on the social campaign 4U!
The opening event of the series within the project was a meeting in Katowice (7 March 2023). It was followed by training sessions for directors and employees of educational institutions subordinate to the delegations of the Silesian School Superintendency in Jaworzno (28.03.2023), Częstochowa (29.03.2023) and Bytom (18.04.2023).
A total of 1,449 people took part in the meetings.
The participation of TPCoE in the project 'Security is the most important - Polish schooling ' is a direct expression of the implementation of the Centre's mission, which is expressed in the process of shaping a culture of security by building anti-terrorist awareness in society. The above is part of TPCoE's efforts to build the resilience of Polish educational institutions against extremist-terrorist threats.
