Participation of TPCoE in the 1st International Conference on the use of behavioural analysis by law enforcement services
On 18-19 May, the management and experts of the Terrorist Prevention Centre of the Internal Security Agency participated in the 1st International Conference on the use of behavioural analysis by law enforcement services.
The event, which was organised and hosted by Colonel Adam Pacuk, Commander of the Border Guard Training Centre in Kętrzyn, was attended by 90 experts representing services and institutions from Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland and Poland TPCoE in its speech discussed issues related to the process of radicalisation, indicating how important it is to counteract factors that can generate vulnerability of individuals and social groups to the impact of radical narratives promoted by extremist and terrorist movements. Other speakers referred to such topics as the use of artificial intelligence as an enabler of behavioural detection, threats to critical infrastructure from so-called insiders or training methodologies for behavioural analysis.
