Participation of TPCoE in PWGT event
Representatives of the Terrorism Prevention Centre of Excellence and the Anti-Terrorist Centre of Internal Security Agency took part in sessions of the Police Working Group on Terrorism (PWGT).
On May 9-10, 2022, the 81st conference of the Police Working Group on Terrorism (PWGT) was held in Warsaw.
Since 2001 Central Bureau of Investigation of the National Police represents the Polish Police in the works of the Police Working Group on Terrorism (PWGT), which brings together representatives of services involved in combating terrorism and extremism in Europe. The meeting was attended by representatives of European units belonging to the Group.
The subject of the conference were current issues related to combating terrorist threats and political extremism in Europe. During the meeting the Centre presented its activities in the field of terrorist prevention, trainings and other activities undertaken to raise the level of anti-terrorist awareness in the society.
