ABW’s TP CoE participation in the conference 20 years after the attacks on the World Trade Center
On September 10, 2021, ABW’s TP CoE officers took part as speakers at a scientific conference organized by the Center for Studies and Education for Security of the University of Wrocław and the Polish Society for National Security, entitled "The 20th anniversary of the war on terrorism - balance and prospects." The panel discussion, attended by representatives of the Center, concerned the issue of anti-terrorist education.
The statements of the director and an expert of the TP CoE focused on two problem areas, regarding the general outline of anti-terrorist education in Poland and specific activities undertaken by the Centre to raise anti-terrorist awareness in the Republic of Poland (training, workshops, e-learning).
The second of the problem areas included the presentation of the so-called "Good practices" in the field of anti-terrorist education, which the Center uses in this area. In this context, the existing products developed by the Center for raising awareness in society (the 4U! campaign) Were presented, and the directions that, in the opinion of the individual, will serve to further prepare Polish society to react to various forms of terrorist violence (the whole of the society and the whole of the government approach, i.e. multi-entity activities based on public-private partnership, including between the civil, private and military sectors).
