Establishing cooperation between TP CoE and INTCEN
TP CoE in cooperation with the EU Intelligence and Situation Centre in Brussels (INTCEN) organized workshops under the project No. PL / 2018 / PR / 0061 "Better recognition of asymmetric threats - trends, points, support”
Within the project on identifying the asymmetric threats in the context of terrorism officers of the Internal Security Agency took part in the last of four workshops given by external partners. The workshop conducted by INTCEN experts for ABW officers took place on January 12-13, 2021.
During the workshop, a group of 40 ABW officers participated in a webinar, which was an opportunity to learn the role of INTCEN in analyzing hybrid and intelligence threats for the security of EU as well as in enhancing capacities of EU Member States in the protection against terrorism. The presentations focused on vulnerability assessment of European critical infrastructure, radicalization within the EU and on building resilience against extremist propaganda, hate speech and acts of violence.
