International meeting - Helsinki (Finland)
On 6 - 8 November 2018 in Helsinki (Finland), the ABW TPCoE together with the Croatian SOA, organized a consultation meeting with Finnish entities: SUPO special service, Police Administration Headquarters, Ministry of the Interior and the National Investigation Bureau.
During the meeting, the role of the abovementioned services and institutions in the context of prevention and counter-terrorism was discussed and a scope of counter measures in the proces of radicalization was analysed. Identification of challenges and problems related to the inflow of large numbers of immigrants were pointed out. At the end of the meeting the adoption of recommendations regarding the functioning of the terrorist prevention system on the territory of the EU, including in particular in the Republic of Poland and Finland were made.
