Training for the National Contact Point of the National Centre Research and Development

On 9 January this year, an TPCoE expert conducted a training session for representatives of the National Contact Point of the National Centre for Research and Development .

The meeting was mainly devoted to issues related to building the organisation's security policy in the context of current threats resulting from the activity of state and non-state entities. 

The training discussed, among other things, issues concerning the vulnerability of people and objects to unauthorised interference. In addition, the basic mechanisms used in the event of an attempted unauthorised acquisition of information were presented, as well as how to deal with individuals who may pose a threat to the entity's security. It also discusses the basics of the influence tools used to gain information for, among other things, business and market advantage.

In addition, the topics of hybrid threats were addressed, particularly in the context of the current geopolitical situation, including activities of a terrorist nature. On this basis, the role of information in the context of disinformation and polarisation of society was discussed.
