TPCoE training for the National Atomic Energy Agency

On July 4 of this year, TPCoE held another training session on information security policy building and counterterrorism prevention for representatives of the National Atomic Energy Agency.

The meeting was devoted to issues related to building an organization's security policy in the context of current threat vectors, including terrorist threats. During the training, issues related to the vulnerability of people and facilities to unauthorized intrusion were discussed, among others. In addition, topics related to the tasks of the organization's security leader and the relationship that exists between the security division and employees were addressed. There was also a focus on issues related to the risk analysis process and a discussion of impact tools used for unlawful information gathering. The meeting also imparted knowledge on best practices and recommended behaviours, in the event of a terrorist incident - based on the 4U!social campaign - regarding the activity of a mass killer, the perpetrator's use of explosives and contamination agents.

The event is part of the Centre’s educational activities to raise awareness of, among others, the personnel of centres involved in activities relevant to the energy security of the Republic.
