Training for the Warsaw University of Technology
On: 31 May and 6 June 2023, a TPCoE expert conducted an anti-terrorism prevention training for the Warsaw University of Technology.
The event was dedicated to the academic staff and administrative personnel of the university. Attention was given to issues related to the recognition of such threats in their earliest stage. Among other things, the process of radicalisation, often leading to terrorism, to which young people in particular are susceptible, was discussed. This was followed by a discussion of recommended behaviour during the immediate occurrence of terrorist incidents and the procedures to follow following the receipt of a so-called dangerous package.
The training is part of promoting awareness of security threats in order to build the resilience of Polish scientific and educational institutions.
