Training for the Warsaw Institute of Aviation
On 05.06.2023 representatives of TPCoE conducted a training course for the staff of the Warsaw Institute of Aviation.
The first part of the training concerned the issue of money laundering in the aspect of the threat of terrorist financing. During the lecture, the following was discussed: the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing system in Poland, mechanisms for establishing the credibility of a business entity through publicly available databases, a case study of the use of FinTech for money laundering.
The second part of the training was devoted to the mission and tasks of TPCoE, the recommended model of conduct during a terrorist incident and the role of information in building security policy in the context of terrorist threats, as well as discussion of the 4U!social campaign.
The event is an element of TPCoE activity for increasing the resilience of scientific and research centres against threats related to extremism, terrorism and information protection.
