More than 20,000 people trained
TPCoE-trained individuals provide valuable support in prevention and emergency response.
Today, the threat of terrorism is one of the most important challenges facing societies around the world. In response to this threat, many countries and organizations are taking steps to prevent terrorist acts and increase the level of public safety. In Poland, one of the key centres for terrorist prevention is The Terrorism Prevention Centre of Excellence (TPCoE), which, since its establishment in 2018, has already trained more than 20,000 people in residential mode, who represent various institutions, such as uniformed services, public administration, as well as the private sector. TPCoE's training courses cover a variety of issues related to prevention and response to terrorist situations.
TPCoE's mission is to provide high-quality training, advice and analysis on prevention activities in the context of terrorism and extremism. TPCoE cooperates with various national and international institutions with the aim of exchanging information and best practices in the anti-terrorism field.
Despite its achievements, the Centre faces continuing challenges. The dynamics of terrorism and extremism require constant adaptation to new methods and tactics used by terrorist groups. The TPCoE must also take into account developments in technology and cyber threats, which are becoming increasingly relevant in today's world. Through cooperation, training and analysis, the TPCoE contributes to maintaining stability and security in the country and countering terrorism.
