International Meeting – Wellington (New Zeeland)
On 11 - 13 February in Wellington (New Zeeland) the TP CoE together with the Croatian SOA, organized consultation meetings with partner security authorities (GCSB, NAB), including from the intelligence sector (NZSIS).
During the meetings, the role of the abovementioned services and institutions in preventing and countering terrorism was discussed, also in the context of dealing with challenges of irregular migration movements.
In the wake of the Christchurch terrorist attack on March 15th, 2019, information was exchanged on how to successfully prevent the dissemination of terrorist content online.
The Polish delegation presented the role of the CPT ABW in preventing terrorism and violent extremism as well as newly launched in Poland social “4U!” campaign, which is supposed to facilitate the effectiveness of public response to terrorist attack.
