Meeting with the Prison Service – Sucha, Poland
On 28th August 2019, TP CoE officers participated at the meeting of the security department of the Prison Service where they gave a presentation about the radicalisation process of prisoners in the Polish penitentiary system.
TP CoE representatives presented the mission and aims of the Centre, touched upon the phenomena and showed examples of radicalisation in Poland and other EU countries. In addition, the participants discussed terrorism threats for Polish citizens identified by the ABW in the internal and external security context. Moreover, TP CoE presented good practices during situations of terrorism nature.
A positive reception from the participants allowed the Centre to plan future trainings for officers and employees of the Prison Service.
