Meeting with the Prison Service – Popowo, Poland
On 28th February TP CoE officers participated at the annual meeting of the Prison Service where they gave a presentation about the radicalisation process of imprisoned people in the Polish penitentiary system.
TP CoE representatives presented the mission and aims of the Centre, touched upon the phenomena and showed examples of radicalisation in Poland and other EU countries. In addition, the participants discussed terrorism threats, identified by the ABW in the internal and external security context, for Polish citizens.
A positive reception from the participants allowed the Centre to plan next trainings for officers and employees of the Prison Service.
