TPCoE training for the Office of the Municipality of Marki
On 5 September 2023, a TPCoE expert conducted a training course on anti-terrorist prevention and methods of obtaining information in the context of a terrorist event for the employees of the Municipality Office in Marki.
The training included a series of presentations on threat typologies and best practices, as well as recommended behaviour in the situation of a terrorist event. An officer of the Centre familiarised the listeners with the 4U! social campaign, i.e. recommended behaviour in a situation of a threat of an attack by a so-called mass killer. The issue of proper action in a hostage situation was also raised.
Also discussed during the training were issues concerning the role of information in the process of building an organisation's security policy in the context of terrorist threats, methods used in the situation of attempts at unauthorised acquisition of information and ways of developing persons for information exploitation, whose actions may pose a threat to the organisation's security.
