TPCoE training for Veolia Industry Polska Sp. z o.o.
On 8 August 2023, officers of the TPCoE carried out training on terrorist prevention and counteracting money laundering in the context of terrorist financing for the management and employees of Veolia Industry Polska Sp. z o.o. company.
The aforementioned entity is part of the VEOLIA capital group and specialises, among others, in comprehensive energy and multi-technical services for industrial, commercial and logistics and warehouse facilities.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to issues related to the security of entities in the economic sector.
Among other things, a presentation of the typology of terrorist incidents was made, and the principles of the 4U! social campaign were discussed, indicating recommended ways of proceeding in the event of such threats (also in the time preceding such an event), e.g. the action of an armed perpetrator, the assault of counter-terrorist units, the use of explosives, CBRN agents and the use of the so-called hazardous shipment.
The training is part of an educational campaign conducted by TPCoE aimed at increasing the resilience of personnel of companies in the energy sector to threats related to extremism and terrorism.
