Training of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole
On 2 June 2023, a training session on terrorist prevention and information threat prevention was held on the premises of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole. It was attended by numerous representatives of the university's academic staff and students.
Particular attention was paid to issues related to the recognition of such threats at their preliminary stage. Among other things, the process of radicalisation, often leading to terrorism, to which young people in particular are susceptible, was discussed. Separate treatment was given to issues concerning behaviour during the direct occurrence of terrorist incidents, e.g. related to a so-called dangerous package.
The training is part of an effort to raise awareness among the staff of Polish universities of the risks associated with extremism, terrorism and information security.
