Participation of TPCoE representative in a training course for officers of the Polish Police Contingent in Kosovo
On 16 May 2023, a TPCoE expert conducted a training course for officers of the police contingent to participate in the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX).
The police officers who were trained belong to the next 35th shift of the Special Unit of the Polish Police (Jednostka Specjalna Polskiej Policji – JSPP), which is part of the said contingent.
During the meeting, issues of information threat prevention were discussed in the context of dangerous contacts to which Polish personnel may be exposed while performing their duties at home and abroad.
The aforementioned issues were presented against the background of the current geopolitical situation and covered various aspects related to the role of information in the context of building an organisation's security policy. The characteristics of contemporary threats that may be caused by the excess and massiveness of information in the professional activity environment of officers in the place of duty were also made.
The event was the first educational initiative of its kind for the officers of the Polish Contingent within the framework of TPCoE's activities concerning the shaping of information security policy in the context of anti-terrorist prevention.
