Training for AGH University of Science and Technology

On 24 April 2023, officers of the Internal Security Agency conducted an anti-terrorist training course for the teaching staff and students of AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.

The meeting, which brought together a total of around 80 people (both lecturers and students), discussed issues concerning the role of the special services in the Polish internal security system, particularly in the context of the war taking place in Ukraine. An important element of the Agency officers' speeches, were also issues related to anti-terrorist prevention. During the lectures, attention was drawn to selected forms of terrorist incidents and the correct, recommended ways of proceeding during an attack were discussed.

Within the framework of raising anti-terrorist awareness, representatives of universities received with great interest educational products presented to them and prepared by the Centre for this purpose, i.e. 4U! Social Campaign , an e-learning course on terrorist prevention. Increasing knowledge and skills in countering terrorist incidents - especially in the current geopolitical situation - was considered a necessary element of Poland's anti-terrorist security system.
