TPCoE training for Statistics Poland
On 26.01.2023, representatives of TPCoE conducted a training session for the management of Statistics Poland on terrorist prevention, cyber security and money laundering in the context of terrorist financing.
The training was devoted to discussing, among other things, the recommended way of behaving - 4U! procedure in the event of a terrorist incident. Issues related to the use of explosives in acts of violence, as well as the recommended course of action following the receipt of a dangerous package were also addressed.
The second part of the training focused on cyber security and covered issues related to ICT incidents, their classification and methods of prevention.
The last part of the training was devoted to the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing system in Poland. In this respect, guidelines for obliged institutions were discussed and a case study was presented. The phases of money laundering were also presented and the recognised methods that are exploited by criminal groups in the EU for this purpose were discussed.
