TPCoE represents Poland in the work of international forums to combat terrorism
On 20 October 2022, a meeting of the FTF working group of the Global Coalition to Fight Daesh was held, during which the Coalition's assembled representatives discussed, inter alia, the return of Iraqis from camps and the rehabilitation and reintegration of foreign fighters in the Western Balkans area.
Participants at the meeting were introduced to best practices resulting from the activities of, among others, the Hungary Helps programme, which assists those affected by terrorism on the ground or in the vicinity of the conflict. In addition, selected representatives presented the activities of rehabilitation and reintegration programmes in their countries. The conclusion of the meeting was to reaffirm that the cooperation of the international community in the above-mentioned processes is key to achieving tangible results that translate into increased security and prevention of terrorism locally, within Iraq and Syria, in Europe and globally.
