Representatives of TPCoE attended the meeting with representatives of the Prison Service
On 16 May 2022, a delegation of TPCoE took part in a meeting in the detention centre Warszawa-Bialoleka, in the field of counteracting radicalisation and terrorist threats.
In view of the agreement concluded on 27 October 2021 between the Internal Security Agency and the Prison Service on scientific and didactic cooperation in the field of counteracting radicalisation and terrorist threats, representatives of the Centre participated in a study visit to the detention centre.
The meeting was aimed at exchanging views, discussing current trends related to deradicalisation processes on the international arena, as well as to strengthen relations and and setting new directions for cooperation.
The above activities are to serve the preparation of common tools, including, inter alia, an assessment of the risk of radicalisation of inmates and, consequently, the preparation of a training project on countering radicalisation leading to violent extremism and terrorism in the penitentiary environment.
