International meeting - Paris (France)
On 24-26 October 2018 in Paris, the TPCoE together with the Croatian SOA organized a consultation meeting with the French special service DGSI (Directorate General of Internal Security) and UCLAT (Coordination Unit for Combating Terrorism).
The role of the aforementioned services and institutions in immigration procedures was discussed during the meeting. The scope of actions taken in counteracting the radicalization process was established, with indication of challenges and problems related to the inflow of large numbers of immigrants. Recommendations regarding the functioning of the terrorism prevention system on the territory of the EU, including in particular in the Republic of Poland and France were adopted at the end of the meeting.
